Art pieces and my comments!

The first ever drawing I did in my second sketchbook. I believe I did it around the beginning of year 8 but I hadn't gotten into the habbit of labelling the date on my art yet, which is a shame bacause that means I don't the exact date I drew it.
The second drawing in the same sketchbook. You can see how my proportions have gotten a bit better even though (I think) it was drawn the day after. I still need to improve, but I can spot what needs fixing and how to fix - which means I can use that knowledge in any more pieces similar to this.
Another one of the older drawings. Honestly, the proportions on this one isn't too bad. This is actually the piece that got me started on using fluffy hairstyles in my art!
This one was really fun to do! I got inspired to draw this because I had just watch the Doctor Who episode (with David Tennant as the Doctor) where there were alien vampires in Venice, Italy and that really influenced my art for a while.
At this point I kinda got sucked into the theme of drawing vampires. This one has been repeated like everywhere, especially on the whiteboards in the main comuter room at my school. I really liked this one, and I'm pretty sure it was also one of the first drawings I tested one of my new acrylic pens on.
Now this is special! This is the very first proper coloured drawing I did with me acrylic pens. It was just originally a simple pencil doodle I did during one of my lessons, but I thought I'd use it to test the pens before doing a drawing of Chiquita (a singer from a K-Pop group called BABYMONSTER - higly reccomend) for my best friend's birthday.
I also really like this one. I love how I decided to try out a different hairstyle from another time period. I was previously drawing more modern grunge hairstyles or just simply long hair with a fringe, and this definetly impactd me and encouraged me to try a variety of art and fashion styles to draw.
From the vampire stage I then got pulled into drawing elves. Eventhough this wasn't the first elf drawing, it still hooked me into drawing more elves. I really like it but I needed to have worked on the proportions of the head a bit more.
After the previous elf drawing, I think I fell into the loop of doing quite a bit of Y2K fashion and styles. This also actually inspired my own fashion choices and ended up wearing, and feeling comfier, in tighter tops.
Coincidentally, I was just doing some doodling in class, like I usually do, it weirdly ended up looking like one of my close friend Riley! I have no clue why it ended up looking like him, but it did and honestly, I am not complaining since he just looks really drawable and I actually had been meaning to draw him for a while at that time.
I'm like 95% sure what also got me ending up drawing collages was the fact that I had accidentally done the piece in the centre, a bit too small. Anyways, it actually ended turning out not half bad and I really like it. I had also been looking at Y2K star jeans with the spiralled stars printed on (I still havent gotten a pair :[ ), which inspired the background decorations.
This piece I really liked, until the bottom left doodle. It just threw me off and now has put me off this drawing. Even though everyone says it looks really good, I just can't pull myself to like it as much because of that one little detail.
I really liked this one drawing! I love how I incorporated all my favourite factors of previous drawing and kind of merged them all into one cohesive piece.
